Real time reading of flammable, toxic and oxygen contents
4-8 input 4-20mA
5 relay outputs
Ideal for small plants
ATEX and SIL1 certified
The PL4+ gas control unit stands at the forefront of technological innovation, offering unparalleled capabilities for detecting flammable, toxic, or Oxygen compounds in compact systems. Equipped with 4 analog 4-20 mA inputs, expandable to 8 through the seamless integration of the 4-input expansion board PL4/ESP, this control unit sets a new standard in versatility and functionality.
Enclosed within an IP65-rated ABS box and powered by a robust 12Vdc 1.5 A supply, the PL4+ ensures reliable performance even in demanding environments. Its intuitive design features mode status LEDs for timely alarms and fault warnings, complemented by a backlit LCD display for precise, real-time gas concentration readings.
An internal buzzer adds an audible layer of security, activating in alignment with programmable alarm thresholds to ensure swift response to potential hazards. Users have the flexibility to tailor alarms according to their preferences, setting detector types, full-scale ranges, and specific thresholds for each input.
Operating the panel is a breeze, thanks to the three-position key-switch for Set, Unset, and Program functions, accompanied by easily accessible Reset and Acknowledge push buttons. Additionally, the panel boasts 5 output relays - one for each threshold (AL1, AL2, AL3), one for faults (FLT), and one auxiliary relay which can be customized to suit diverse needs.
With the option to leverage the 4-input expansion board, the panel gains access to 16 Open-Collector outputs linked to the second and third alarm thresholds (AL2-AL3) of connected detectors, enhancing its monitoring capabilities significantly.
To ensure uninterrupted operation during power outages, the PL4+ box is designed to accommodate a 12 Vdc 7Ah back-up battery, safeguarding system integrity and performance at all times.
In conclusion, the PL4+ gas control unit epitomizes cutting-edge technology and user-centric design, offering a comprehensive solution for precise gas detection requirements in a variety of settings.
